Deletion request form
Submitting this opens an email to our privacy team with your details filled in, send it and we'll take it from there. Prefer to write yourself? Email privacy@decifyapp.com with the subject "Account deletion request".
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we erase the following from our systems:
- Your account details, including your email address and sign-in information.
- Your scan history.
- Your starred products and ingredients.
What we keep, and why

How long it takes
- In-app deletion: your account is closed immediately and you're signed out on every device.
- Web request: we verify your identity, then complete deletion within 30 days.
- Backups: encrypted backups roll over on a fixed schedule, so residual copies are erased within a further 14 days. They aren't used to restore deleted accounts.
You'll get an email confirming when deletion is complete.
You can also ask us for a copy of your data before deleting it, email privacy@decifyapp.com and we'll send a machine-readable export.
